Last week, eight members of the KSW team joined thousands of corporate participants in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge. The annual event, which transforms Sydney’s Centennial Park into a sea of corporate runners, brought together over 12,000 participants from more than 500 firms for a worthy cause.

A Race for Good

The 5.6 kilometre fun run isn’t just about corporate networking and personal achievement – it serves a greater purpose by raising funds for the Indigenous Marathon Foundation. This remarkable organisation empowers Indigenous Australians through running, promoting healthy lifestyles and creating positive role models in Indigenous communities across the country.

Among the KSW participants, Jonathan, our secondee from the Kreston firm in Denmark, led the pack with an impressive finish time of 26 minutes and 8 seconds. Being the youngest on the team, he had youth on his side! The remaining team members also put in great performances showcasing what events like this are all about – team spirit on full display!

Following the run, everyone collected their well-earned finisher shirts, proudly worn to the celebrations. After the finish line the team regrouped at The Royal Hotel in Paddington, where they joined other corporate challengers for a well deserved post run celebration. The setting provided the perfect backdrop for networking and unwinding after the physical exertion of the run.

What’s Next

The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge proved to be more than just a running event – it was an opportunity for the KSW team to come together outside the office, support a worthy cause, and challenge themselves physically. Continued participation in the run, which has spanned close to 10 years reflects KSW’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, team building, and corporate social responsibility.

Special congratulations (in no particular order) to Michael Goodrick, Quang Tat, Luisa Oliveira, Rachel Mondragon, Markus Goebel, Katie Howie, YeMon Molyneux, Jonathan Hansen for participating and representing our firm at this year’s Corporate Challenge!
