Sam’s journey with KSW commenced on August 27, back in 1973 when the firm, then known as Gibb Stanley & Co, was headquartered at 32 York Street in Sydney. Sam’s role began as a junior accountant, a step that would set the foundation for an extraordinary half-century journey with Kreston Stanley Williamson.
Throughout the years, Sam’s dedication led to a significant turning point which came in 1979 when he became a salaried Partner. This achievement was followed by another significant milestone in 1984 when he became an equity partner.
For the subsequent 28 years, Sam continued to be an invaluable asset to KSW. His unwavering dedication, industry knowledge, and leadership skills were instrumental in shaping the firm’s trajectory. Sam’s journey as a partner came to a turning point on June 30, 2012, when he chose to transition from the business by selling his equity. Despite stepping away from a formal role, his connection with KSW has remained.
As a consultant, Sam maintains his link with KSW, lending his expertise to client engagements and internal projects. This continued involvement showcases not only his dedication but also his desire to contribute meaningfully to the firm he has been a part of for half a century.
