Requirements

About the role

You will be given early responsibility in audit and assurance engagements. Your role will gain you a broad range of experience including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with the planning and completion of external audit engagements;
  • Direct client communication for the planning and preparation of fieldwork and completion of financial statements;
  • Working closely with the management team to ensure client work is completed to a high standard; 
  • Be involved in audits of small companies through to multinational groups, privately owned businesses through to listed, and in a wide range of industries including technology, media, mining, retails, financial services and manufacturing; and
  • Travel to and from clients as and when required.
 
About you
 

The role will suit an enthusiastic graduate, keen to start a career in audit and assurance.

You should be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities: 

  • Recently graduated or about to graduate with an accounting degree; 
  • A commitment to work towards your CA designation; 
  • Proactive nature and ability to work autonomously; 
  • Broad technology skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  • Good communications and writing skills; and, 
  • Time management skills.
