On 4 – 7 December 2023, Kreston Global, in collaboration with Kreston Menon, hosted the Kreston World Conference 2023 in Dubai. Michael Goodrick, Managing Partner at KSW and Kamal Thakkar, Partner and Regional Kreston Director attended the conference that brought together representatives from 115 countries giving them the opportunity to collaborate and explore possibilities for business expansion and international collaboration.
The conference commenced with a captivating RRR dance, setting a vibrant tone for a day filled with energy. Sudhir Kumar, Director of Kreston Global Board and Kreston Middle East Chair, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. He introduced the enlightening Fireside Chat, featuring the Chief Guest, His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
Kamal Thakkar, Regional Director for Asia and Pacific at the Kreston Global Audit Group, played a significant role during the conference. He took the stage to discuss KSW’s collaborative efforts with other Kreston network members on a global bid for one of the world’s largest web service platform providers, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the Kreston Way. Additionally, he actively participated in the audit group meeting as an audit committee member for Asia Pacific. Kamal has been entrusted with the role of Asia Pacific steering committee chairman and shared insights on the committee’s initiatives during his presentation to the Middle East Conclave which preluded the conference.
Our deepened engagement has resulted in increased referrals and heightened recognition for our firm, promising additional opportunities for our senior team members in diverse technical and business development realms.
