ATO TO REPORT BUSINESS TAX DEBTS TO CREDIT REPORTING BUREAUS

From 1 July 2017 the ATO will be allowed to disclose tax debt information to Credit Reporting Bureaus.

As you know, changes to superannuation have now been passed in Parliament.  One change which we will go into details is the introduction of a $1.6 million transfer balance cap which limits the tax exemption for assets funding superannuation pensions.  This new limit will apply from 1 July.

Kamal is a registered company auditor, having worked for 20 year providing audit, assurance and related accounting services in both Australia and the UK.  His extensive experience includes auditing private and listed companies, not-for-profit entities, as well as public flotations investing accountant’s reports, due diligence, agreed upon assurance, internal audit and IT and foregnsic assurance engagement.
